Samples

We have ported some sample applications from CocoaTouch/Objective-C to MonoTouch, you can.  Most of the samples are built using the pure SDK and Unix makefiles. This is done to illustrate the process used.

• Browse the Source Code on the web (there are now hosted at github)
  
  • UICatalog sample (shows how to use various controls/views)
  • MoviePlayer sample [1]
  • HttpClient sample, uses XDocument to parse RSS feeds.
• Download as:
  • ZIP file.
  • tar.gz file.
• Use GIT to download a copy to your machine using SVN, type the following on a Terminal window:
  •   git clone git@github.com:migueldeicaza/monotouch-samples.git

There is one MonoDevelop for iPhone setup called monocatalog-md which is identical to monocatalog. The only difference is that this is a pre-made MonoDevelop solution file.
